DIY

This week I did a DIY set up at home following a video tutorial liked on moodle. I used a big box and cut the sides out. I covered the holes with baking paper then set up two lights, one in each side. The result : For my second test i shot outside , I used white paper to defuse the sunlight and as a cleaner back drop.  The result:

Image one: Heinz Ketchup Ad. I really enjoy the look of this ad. I like the use of strong bold red colour it is signature to them and also reminds me of ketchup. I think the vines growing around the bottle is smart advertising as it gives the customer the idea that it’s fresh and natural. The “grown not made” is also a great slogan as it makes the product trustworthy. Overall I like the advertising of this product and the image. Image two: Bulmers Cider Ad.                                                  I like the general feeling this image portrays. It makes you want a cold bulmers on a hot day. I chose this product image because I thought the fresh apple and ice cold glass against the sunny background makes you miss summer and crave a cold bulmers. Relating a product to a Feary’s in situation is always smart advertising in my opinion.  ...
