DIY

This week I did a DIY set up at home following a video tutorial liked on moodle. I used a big box and cut the sides out. I covered the holes with baking paper then set up two lights, one in each side.

The result :





For my second test i shot outside , I used white paper to defuse the sunlight and as a cleaner back drop.

Nickon Speedlight sb-700

These photos were taken using a Nickon Speedlight-700 attached to a Nickon D3000 Camera. The first two pictures are taken with the subject positioned so i could use a side bounce to simulate window light. This causes the harsh shadow on the left side of the subject giving the effect of light shining in on the right. I did this by setting up a speedlight on a stand to the right of the subject and pointing the camera with a speedlight attached straight on.
